A little bit more about me if you are really curious....
I was raised in Encinitas, CA two exits from Where the Turf Meets the Surf. My passion has always been horses and the ocean. When I was about 14 I was introduced to Barrel Racing and Gymkhanah let’s just say as a girl who always dreamt of being a jockey but was already too tall by the age of 12 Barrel Racing was the next best thing. I dedicated my after school hours to riding and training horses to compete in Gymkhana. I am extremely proud to say I trained a two time California Gymkhana Association State Champion, a two time reserve state champion, and had a student that became a reserve state champion *Not so humble brag*⠀
During the summer months when I was not competing I was often found at the beach or Where the Turf Meets the Surf at Del Mar racetrack. I admired the beauty and pageantry of Thoroughbred Racing. Eventually I went from an admirer to ingrained in the racing community after taking an internship with the @breederscup while I was in college. I have worked in many aspects of racing including developing a mobile application for Breeders' Cup Limited, managing social media accounts for numerous racing groups and tracks, working at HRTV *Rest in peace* and finally (my most favorite) co-founding Grand Slam Social. ⠀
